Varun Dhawan's Bhediya 2 update!

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Amar was asked if the intention to take different route for Bhediya's cameo in Thamma than Stree 2. The filmmaker revealed, "Yes. When we made Bhediya (2022), we could have made him bigger and stronger. But we had seen that a lot in the films of the West and I didn’t want to repeat it. Also, it didn’t fascinate me then. Our story was about animals saving the forest and hence, Bhediya should be like any other creature."The filmmaker further revealed how Varun reacted to his cameo in Ayushmann and Rashmika's Thamma. Meanwhile, Shakti Shalini, featuring Aneet Padda, is the upcoming film from Maddock Horror Cinematic Universe. The announcement promo was showcased alongside Thamma in cinemas. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026. Apart from Shakti Shalini, the upcoming horror comedies include Chamunda, Stree 3, Mahamunjya, Bhediya 2, Pehla Mahayudh and Dusra Mahayudh.As far as Bhediya is concerned, it featured Varun, Abhishek Banerjee and Kriti Sanon.
