Speaking exclusively to us, Manish said, "I couldn't be there. One, because I am camera-shy and I am controversially shy (laughs). Here, subconsciously, I was too shy to go on the set. And she promised me you will not have any media interaction. I promise you, I'll take care of it."The actor further revealed that he had a shoot in Dubai while Avika got married to Milind in India. "Coincidentally, I had a shoot and was in Dubai. I just couldn't be there. But every moment I was there with her, it was just amazing how everything was unfolding. As the chat continued, Manish reacted to Avika's decision to get married on national television. The actor said in Hindi, "A girl who has lived only on TV sets, today her marriage also happened on TV. That's the most beautiful thing ever. Because somewhere, the audiences who have given her love had the right to be a part of her marriage. And she gave that right to everyone, which is outstanding. There was a date in December for the wedding. But it got preponed."On a concluding note, the Sasural Simar Ka actor praised Avika's husband, Milind. "There could have been never a better way for someone to celebrate it with someone who has always been there, like star Avika and Avika's fans. And then you have someone as fantastic as Milind, who is such a wonderful boy and intelligent.
