Starring Zahaan Kapoor in the lead role, the web series was reportedly set to go on floors in September this year. However, the Vikramaditya Motwane show seems to have hit a roadblock. According to a media report, Black Warrant 2 has been delayed indefinitely due to creative differences between Vikramaditya and Netflix.

Black Warrant 2's future in limbo?

As per Mid-Day report, the first few episodes of Black Warrant 2 are point of contention. A source told the tabloid that the streaming platform wants the second season to be more 'accessible' with faster hook and more punch."Vikram feels the show must retain the grit that made the opening edition stand out. We were to begin table reads around this time, but I have been asked to release my dates now. That means the show is on hold for now."

Meanwhile, a Netflix insider told the tabloid that the streamer wants to get a wider audience for Black Warrant 2. Having said that, the drafts for the show will reportedly require rewriting and that the show is on from the platform's end.Talking about season one, the series consisted seven episodes and premiered on January 10 this year.
