ChatGPT Down: The word ‘meltdown’ is not exactly something that people look forward to; however, the dramatic chaos that the internet ended up creating after ChatGPT went down today- it's safe to say that netizens are surely looking forward to yet another meltdown! Yes, that's how hilariously most people reacted after OpenAI’s ChatGPT went down on Monday, October 06. The widely used AI chatbot is one of those AI tools that is used for almost everything- from being used as a ‘therapist’ and even a ‘doctor’- quite literally- to being used as the ultimate ‘answering machine’ that can answer anything and everything. All in all, ChatGPT, at this point in time, had turned into a household name across the world. With an effect so strong, it makes sense
that netizens went crazy the minute they started facing issues while using it.As per the online tracking site Downdetector, a spike in issue reports was recorded at 12:54 PM. While the initial number of reports was around 514, they provided a clear breakdown of the problem areas. Around 80 percent of reports were directed at the chatbot itself, whereas for the OpenAI website and the ChatGPT app, the reported issues were 13 per cent and 7 per cent. Reportedly, OpenAI has not responded to the matter. The internet, on the other hand, did not miss the opportunity as it shared all kinds of reactions on the issue.Let’s take a look at some of the most viral reactions: “ChatGPT is down and I’m forced to use my own brain,” a user said.
