Ishaan Khatter reveals why Homebound means a lot to him
In the same chat, Ishaan revealed Homebound means a lot to him because the film captures 'empathy and compassion' at a time when the world is getting more 'intolerant'.He further added, "Now, all the accolades and the Oscar selection are just all a bonus. We couldn’t have asked for anything more than this. TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) is arguably the most prestigious North American film festival, while Cannes is like the Mecca of films. Now, with the Academy selection, it’s like we have completed the trifecta."Meanwhile,
Homebound is set for a theatrical release on September 26, 2025. It will stream on Netflix after theatrical run.
