Kalamkaval gets worldwide release date
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the actor-filmmaker Mammootty has announced the worldwide release date of his upcoming film Kalamkaval. The caption read, "The darkness lifts, revealing the light.Your long wait is finally coming to an end. #Kalamkaval will be released exclusively in theaters Across the World on November 27, 2025," while also sharing an intimidating poster. Kalamkaval get's 16+ certification
Yesterday, October 22, Mammootty shared an update over his official social media handle that the film has successfully got the 16+ certification by the Central Board Of Film Certification. He wrote, "Truth bleeds. Silence breaks #Kalamkaval Censored with U/A 16+ Certificate !! In Cinemas Soon."
This upcoming Indian Malayalam-language action crime thriller film directed by debutant Jithin K. Jose. It is produced by Mammootty Kampany. The film stars Mammootty, Vinayakan and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles with Gibin Gopinath, Gayatri Arun, and Rajisha Vijayan in supporting roles. The screenplay is co-written by Jithin K. Jose and Jishnu Sreekumar. In Kalamkaval, Mammootty is said to play a morally conflicted protagonist, a role that promises to challenge his established screen image.
