Rachit has been credited for playing the role of Veeran, one of the Betaal sect members, who idolises ‘Thama’ Yakshasan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and obeys his orders diligently. According to reports, Rachit got engaged to Huma in the U.S after the premiere of her film, Bayaan, at the Toronto International Film Festival 2025. According to Hindustan Times’ report, a source said, “Huma and Rachit have been going strong for a while as a couple and on Sunday, he proposed to her in an intimate proposal and she said yes. It was a close-knit affair that took place in the US. They are yet to decide when they want to make it official by announcing it publicly.”Huma attended the Mumbai premiere of Thamma to cheer for Rachit. They made their first public appearance together and netizens saw it as an official confirmation of the engagement. Huma and Rachit are yet to come on record to talk about their dating rumours. Thamma is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films. It released on October 21 in Hindi and Telugu.
