Puneeth Rajkumar, wife of late Kannada film icon Puneeth Rajkumar, is ready with her Kannada production venture Maarigallu. The web series is a divine folklore thriller set in the 1990s and inspired by the enduring legend of a long-lost Kadamba dynasty treasure.

The series Maarigallu will stream on Zee 5 app. The show tells the story from the era of Mayura Sharma, the first king of Karnataka, under whose reign the dynasty flourished. Legends tell of a hidden treasure from the Kadamba Dynasty, long lost to time and believed to be protected by Maari, the region's guardian deity. Maarigallu promises to deliver a gripping story of greed, betrayal, faith, and destiny as this mystery unfolds, blending cultural richness with edge-of-the-seat drama.

Recently On the occasion of the 50th birth anniversary of Puneeth Rajkumar, Ashwini announced a biography on the star. She shared the news through her social media. Taking to her official Instagram handle, she wrote: "Presenting 'Appu' - Emotional biography of Appu... Presenting 'Appu' - a soulful biographical tribute to Appu..." In addition to the biography, there are also plans to launch an app that will focus on Puneeth's thoughts.Earlier this year, Ashwini Rajkumar's production house produced Ekka starring Yuva Rajkumar in the lead.
