Dressed in a traditional Veshti and a white shirt, Rishab was seen barefoot while posing for the paparazzi amid heavy police protection. The actor also interacted with local authorities before entering the temple. Following the release of Kantara Chapter 1 on October 2, a man impersonating Guliga Daiva was seen dancing around in a Tamil Nadu theatre. As the video went viral, Hombale Films, the production house backing the film, issued a statement. It read, “To the cinephiles and the global audience, Dhaivaradhane stands as a profound symbol of faith and cultural pride within Tulunadu, the coastal region of Karnataka.
