while juggling the ongoing shoot of Love & War, Alia Bhatt is growing her production banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions, with an ambitious lineup of new projects. She is collaborating with director Shujaat Saudagar known for Rock On 2 (2016) and Bambai Meri Jaan (2023) to develop multiple films scheduled for release in the coming years. Their first collaboration is reportedly a young adult campus drama, a genre Alia believes resonates strongly with today’s audiences. The venture is expected to blend fresh storytelling with relatable characters, aiming to strike a chord with both theatrical and digital viewers, while further establishing Alia’s presence as a producer with vision.

Since her debut as a producer with Darlings (2022), Alia has emphasized her commitment to backing original and engaging stories. A source told mid-day, “They’re aiming for big-screen spectacles and OTT stories. Shujaat’s company will be involved in production, while Alia’s team will drive the creative aspects. Alongside her production ventures, Alia continues to shine as an actor. She will headline Shiv Rawail’s Alpha, the seventh instalment in YRF’s spy universe, co-starring Sharvari and Bobby Deol. The film is set for a theatrical release on December 25.She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
