The Lawrence Bishnoi gang reportedly carried out multiple shootings across several locations in Canada on Sunday night. A man identified as Fateh Portugal, linked to the Lawrence gang, claimed responsibility in a social media post and shared videos of the attacks. In the post, he alleged that an individual named Navi Tesi had extorted Rs 5 million from people using Lawrence Bishnoi’s name, prompting the gang to target his locations in retaliation.List of locations where shooting occurred: 1. The post warned that anyone providing evidence of misconduct by businessmen would face action from the group. It clarified, however, that they hold no hostility toward hardworking individuals and respect those who earn their living honestly. The message concluded with a caution that anyone spreading false information would be held responsible for any resulting harm to life or property -- not Fateh Portugal. The post ended with multiple signatures.

Canada Designates Bishnoi Gang As 'Terrorist Entity'

The Government of Canada has officially listed the Bishnoi Gang as a terrorist entity under the Criminal Code, citing its "violent operations" across the country. Announcing the decision, Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree said acts of terror and intimidation have no place in Canada. “Groups that use fear, violence, and extortion to target communities must be held accountable,” he said."The Bishnoi Gang is a transnational criminal organisation operating primarily out of India. They have a presence in Canada and are active in areas with significant diaspora communities. The Bishnoi Gang engages in murder, shootings and arson, and generates terror through extortion and intimidation. They create a climate of insecurity in these communities by targeting them, their prominent community members, businesses, and cultural figures. Listing the Bishnoi Gang will help Canadian security, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies in combating their crimes and making communities safer," the Canadian government said in its release.
