As per reports, soon after his military discharge in June this year, Suga had donated 5 billion KRW (approximately $3.64 million) to the hospital in Seoul. He recorded history by making the largest single donation at the Yonsei Medical Center and its affiliated children's hospital. Recently, news came in that volunteers were being recruited to join its MIND Band, an instrumental band. MIND band refers to the MIND Program co-developed by Suga along with the Severance Hospital's Pediatric Psychiatry Department. MIND stands for Music, Interaction, Network and Diversity, a group social skills program that integrates musical content into existing social skills training programs for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
