
Zubeen Garg Death: Fans of Assamese sensation Zubeen Garg- along with the Indian cinema and music industry- woke up to a rather heartbreaking shock on Friday, September 19, after the sad news of the 52-year-old singer’s demise broke out on the internet. The musical talent was in Singapore at the time, where he died during a scuba diving accident. As per reports, the singer fell into the sea. As soon as reports on the same began to float online, it triggered a wave of sadness, with fans pouring in their love for the singer and condolences to his family. Amid all the reactions, one stood out the most, where an ITPB constable- Vikramjeet Singh- paid the singer a tribute in a manner Garg would have surely loved!A video was shared online, which showed
the ITPB constable singing one of Garg’s songs. His voice, paired up with a simple guitar being played by another ITPB constable- Bhrigu Mohan Dass- was quick to leave many touched. The song in question was ‘Ahe Ba Nahe’.In Singapore, Zubeen was a part of a delegation at the Northeast Festival. Later, the event was reportedly cancelled. There were hardly any Indians who didn’t know about Garg. The singer was famous in the Assamese and Hindi music industry. Zubeen was married to a fashion designer from Golaghat- Garima Saikia. The two tied the holy knot in 2002.
