A video that has sparked widespread conversation on social media is going viral, and it challenges existing wedding traditions in India. In it, he explains that after moving in with his in-laws, he decided to prepare his first meal for them as part
of the ritual. He chose to make fruit custard, a dish his wife loves. The video further documents his preparations, and later shows his in-laws tasting the dessert. They not only appreciated his effort but also blessed him with shagun money (a customary token given as a blessing.)Captioned “Same Old Traditions, with a Modern Twist,” the video is quickly gaining traction online. So far, it has amassed over 35,000 likes, more than 600 comments, and over 6 lakh views.
