
New Delhi: Navjot Singh, an official working with the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, died in a road accident near Dhaula Kuan on Sunday after his motorcycle was hit by a speeding BMW. Singh was returning home with his wife from Bangla Sahib Gurudwara to Hari Nagar when the incident occurred near Pillar Number 57, towards Raja Garden. His wife sustained severe injuries and remains in critical condition.Instead of being rushed to the nearest hospital, Singh was allegedly taken nearly 17 kilometers away to NewLife Hospital in GTB Nagar, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. According to Delhi Police, Singh, the official and his wife were riding his motorcycle when the BMW collided with the vehicle, causing it to hit the central
verge. The impact threw the couple onto the road, and in the aftermath, they were struck by a bus that was passing by. "The deceased was working in the Ministry of Finance in GoI and resident of Hari Nagar. His wife is injured and under treatment. They were going on a motorcycle and were hit by a car, as a result of its collision with the central verge.
