Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda succumbed to multiple organ failure on October 8. He was admitted to a hospital in Mohali, Punjab, after meeting with an accident during his trip to Himachal Pradesh on September
27. He was 35 years old and survived by his mother, wife and children. The Punjabi film fraternity offered condolences on social media. Ammy Virk shared details of Rajvir’s funeral on Instagram.

Rajvir’s funeral will be held today (October 9) in Pona, a village in Jagraon, Ludhiana district, at 11 AM. Many of his colleagues and friends are expected to attend the last rites and funeral. Rajvir died at 10.55 am at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

According to reports, Rajvir's car reportedly collided with cattle while he was travelling to Shimla via Solan district on September 27. He lost control of his vehicle near Baddi, which led to a major accident. After sustaining serious injuries to his head and spine, the singer was kept on life support for 11 days before his demise.

Confirming his death, the hospital issued a statement that read, "Despite extensive medical support and continuous monitoring by the Critical Care and Neurosurgery teams, he succumbed to multiple organ failure this morning. Our deepest condolences to his family and fans.”Neeru Bajwa confirmed his death by sharing an Instagram post that read, "Heartbroken by the tragic loss of such a young and promising life. Sending deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of @rajvirjawandaofficial. May you find strength and peace during this unimaginable time. Gone far too soon, but never forgotten."
