After Announcing Directorial Debut, Hrithik Roshan To Foray Into Production With Social Thriller: Report

Roshan gave his fans a major surprise by announcing Krrish 4 as his directorial debut. Now, according to a media portal’s report, the War 2 actor is gearing up to launch his production banner, named HRX Films. As per the report, he will be backing a web series for Amazon Prime Video.

A PeepingMoon report revealed that the show will be a social thriller with twists and emotional depth. It is currently in pre-production stage. A source told the portal that shooting will commence by the year's end. On March 28, Rakesh Roshan announced that Hrithik will be foraying into direction with Krrish 4. His caption read, “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings!”

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh revealed, “The script didn’t take a lot of time. The pressure was the budgeting. Now that we have an idea of the definite budget required for this film, we’ll be starting the film.”He also added, “The work is going on in full swing. We are going to start the shoot of the film by the middle of next year. This is because the pre-production is much more extensive in this film. Hence, we have to be well-prepared before we go on floors.” Talking about the release, Rakesh said, “We plan to release it in 2027.”Hrithik is yet to officially announce his debut as a producer.
