Our mountain ranges truly are heaven on Earth- at least on the basis of how mesmerising they look. Just a few days ago, not just hilly regions, but a region as flat as Bihar too witnessed the beauty of the Himalayan
range- as the mountains, including Mount Everest, became visible from Jainagar- a border town in Madhubani district. The video capturing the snowy mountains standing tall hundreds of kilometres away was hardly out of everyone’s mind, when another image of the Himalayas ended up taking the limelight. Only, this time, the picture was captured from Space! NASA astronaut Don Pettit recently took to his social media and shared a breathtaking image of the Himalayas, including Mt Everest, from the International Space Station (ISS).As per the post, the astronaut at the time was orbiting the “Himalaya mountain range”, which is when he came across the extraordinary view. In the photo, much of Nepal was also visible, as per Pettit. The image instantly went viral, leaving netizens awestruck. Most thanked Pettit for the beautiful share, while some asked questions they had about the area.Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.
