So far, there has been no report of any major damage or loss of life . We are actively monitoring the situation."Government officials confirmed that there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property. "We are monitoring the situation closely, and so far no loss of life or infrastructure damage has been reported," an official said, PTI reported.Assam falls in a high seismic risk zone and has frequently experienced tremors.
