Conrad
Fisher and Deborah Vance! It's a meeting fans could not have predicted. After the hugely successful third season of Amazon Prime Video's The Summer I Turned Pretty , actor Christopher Briney has come on board the fifth season of Hacks, starring Emmy winners Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder. A new picture of Briney with Smart was also released with the news of his casting.
Christopher Briney joins Jean Smart on Hacks Season 5
Briney's announcement was made in a quirky manner by HBO Max. On Instagram, they posted a paparazzi-style pic of the actor on set with Smart and wrote, "anon pls." Wearing an open shirt that shows off some tattoos and a beard and mustache, Briney has left behind Conrad for now. A giggling Deborah Vance (Smart) is holding on to him as they exit what looks like a hotel. Created by showrunners Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, the series has previously won the Emmy for Best Comedy Series. The rest of the ensemble cast includes Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Mark Indelicato, and Rose Abdoo.ALSO READ: The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Is Most Watched Series By Young Women, Reaches 70 Million Viewers In 70 DaysChristopher Briney's previous roles
