On X (formerly Twitter), several fan and update accounts shared the leaked paparazzi pics. In the photos, Lithgow is standing on a beach. His costume consists of a long royal blue wizarding robe, a blue shirt, and dark blue pants with boots. His long white beard nearly reaches his knees, and he is wearing slim half glasses.
From the leaked photos, it looks as if the character is chanting a spell. A crew member from the set is holding up a sign that seems to be a mixture of Latin words. In another video, the character meets up with the characters of Nicholas Flamel and his wife. In the series, Flamel is the one who created the Philosopher's Stone.
Lithgow is the third actor to play Dumbledore after Richard Harris and Michael Gambon. Harris played Dumbledore for the first two Harry Potter films, and after his death in 2002, Gambon took over the part until the end of the eight films in the movie franchise.
