Peddi: Ram Charan Jets Off To Sri Lanka To Begin New Schedule Of Buchi Babu Sana's Film

Global superstar Ram Charan, has jetted off to Sri Lanka, to shoot a new schedule of his film Peddi. A video clip posted on the film's official social media page featured the actor making his way to the airport.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film will see Ram Charan in an action-packed avatar, with actors Shiva Rajkumar , Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu playing key roles.

In August this year, the Peddi team shared that they are shooting for a big-scale introduction song featuring Ram Charan will have 1000 background dancers. The Peddi team also uploaded a visual, wishing film-goers on Ganesh Chaturthi, adding the caption, “Working tirelessly to give you the best - no festivals, no holidays.” Notably, the film also marks the return of AR Rahman to Telugu cinema after nearly 15 years. The film is scheduled for release on 27 March 2026.
