In an interview with Raj Shamani for his podcast, Bobby Deol opened up about his casting for the web show, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. He said, “God has given me a second chance. I am trying to make the most of it. I am enjoying every moment. It was a call for me from Red Chillies for The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. I was told that Aryan Khan is directing it. After hearing it, I quickly said I am doing it. I didn't even ask for a script. I have two boys who want to get into this industry. If my own industry people are not there for me, where will I go? This is the thought I have.”

When asked about his take on Aryan Khan, Bobby Deol said, “Aryan insisted and narrated the story to me. We sat there for 7 hours. I just loved it. I am feeling blessed to be part of The Ba***ds of Bollywood. I just got lucky. An actor's performance can look as good as it can because of the director. I saw the maturity in Aryan.” “I wish I had the same fire that he has now at this age. I started with a lot of fire. He is very talented. I don't know if I am that talented,” the actor added.
