The biggest night in Bollywood is almost here and we cannot keep calm! The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025, in association with Gujarat Tourism, will be held on October 11. The red carpet is set to roll out at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and the excitement is at its peak. Today, actors Rajkummar Rao and Tamannaah Bhatia came together for a press conference ahead of the grand event, along with Mr. Jitesh Pillai (Editor-In-Chief, Filmfare), Mr. Tarun Garg (Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited), Mr. Rohit Gopakumar (Director of Worldwide Media and CEO of ZENL, BCCL TV & Digital Network) and Shri Rajender Kumar (IAS) - Tourism Secretary, Govt of Gujarat. Shah Rukh Khan as host

Mr Jitesh Pillai, Editor-In-Chief, Filmfare, talked about SRK and said, "I must be 17 when I saw SRK in Kaali Kaali Aankhen, it was an absolute thrilling journey from there to here, 2007 to 2025 seeing SRK hosting Filmfare Awards…" Rajkummar Rao added that he can't wait to see SRK performing after long!

Filmfare in Gujarat

Rajender Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Gujarat Tourism talked about the beautiful state of Gujarat and said, "On behalf of our Chief Minister, our government and people of Gujarat, we are inviting you to Gujarat. For the second time we are hosting this award, we invite you to experience glory of heritage, diversity of nature, wildlife, dessert, greenery of hills.. coupled by robust infrastructure."

Filmfare's star performers

The press conference confirmed the starry performers of the night. Mr. Rohit Gopakumar (Director of Worldwide Media and CEO of ZENL, BCCL TV & Digital Network) said, "Shah Rukh Khan will be there, along with Karan Johar, we have Manish Paul who will add comedy tadka." He also revealed that we will be seeing Akshay Kumar's performance, Kriti sanon, Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey.

Tamannaah's favourite Filmfare memory

Tamannaah, whose song Ghafoor is going viral recalled her favourite Filmfare memory and said, "When I was performing on Chammak Challo in front of Shah Rukh Khan for Filmfare in South. I got cold feet yet performed, that's the most memorable Filmfare of my life. She also remembered paying a tribute to Prabhu Deva at one of the Filmfare Awards.

To long partnerships

Tarun Garg, Whole time director and COO of Hyundai Motors India said that it does not feel like its only been 3 years with Filmfare. He added, "We are proud to have this opportunity". Mr. Rohit Gopakumar also stated that it's the third year with Hyundai and "We should grow old together!".
