After the backlash from the Bigg Boss 19 host, producer Sandiip Sikcand has come out in support of Gaurav Khanna.

Sandiip Sikcand has been a big Bigg Boss lover. Salman Khan had scolded Gaurav Khanna for his laid-back attitude in the Bigg Boss 19 house. He said, “If so many people think you are not doing anything in the game, it’s right. When there are organic issues in the house, you don’t participate in them and stay detached. We have no problem with it, but maybe your fans would think that the makers are cutting your footage. How do we explain to them that Gaurav himself is cutting his footage?” When Gaurav Khanna tried to justify his point, Salman replied, “Which means 210 mins a week. Now tell me, as a lead actor in that show, you have to be seen for 180 minutes compulsorily. But here on the weekdays, we have 90-minute episodes, which means 450 minutes a week, and you were only seen for 20 minutes in the entire week. Add 3 to 4 seconds extra for the clapping shots. Gaurav, what was your participation exactly in the last task?” Salman Khan also concluded his conversation with Gaurav Khanna by stating, “Every actor should get scared of the word ‘overrated’.
