Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon's The Morning Show Renewed For Season 5 Hours Before 4th Instalment Premiere

set to see more of Alex Levy, Bradley Jackson, and Cory Ellison as the gang from fictional TV network UBN is returning for one more season. The Morning Show is Apple TV+'s starriest show, with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon as the leads and executive producers. Hours before the new season was to premiere, the streaming service assured fans that there was more in store for the drama series.

Showrunner Charlotte Stoudt and filmmaker Mimi Leder, who is also executive producer, will be returning for Season 5. In a statement, Matt Cherniss, head of programming at Apple TV+, shared, "The Morning Show has been a standout from the very start, debuting as one of the flagship series on Apple TV+. Besides Aniston and Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm are returning for the new season. Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, Marion Cotillard, and Jeremy Irons join the show as new characters. Speaking about the new season, Aniston told Gold Derby, "Alex is in a position that she fought very hard for at the end of Season 3. She's kind of seeing now the reality of what she wished for and maybe — be careful what you wish for.” Levy is now the top anchor and executive at UBN and has a hard time thinking like a boss instead of a journalist. Witherspoon also added, "Our writers are just very thoughtful and forward thinking, too. They'll find issues that people are talking about, AI, deep fakes, freedom of speech, rolling back women's rights, and they'll really go at them."
