
Ahmedabad, September 25, 2025: The fourth edition of Adani Green Talks was held in Ahmedabad on Thursday, bringing together social entrepreneurs and innovators focused on sustainability and inclusion.Adani
Group chairman Gautam Adani, inaugurating the event, urged India to embark on what he called a “second freedom struggle” - not for political independence, but for self-reliance in technology and social innovation. He said young entrepreneurs would play a central role in building solutions that strengthen democracy and bridge social divides.Adani reflected on success stories from past Green Talks, including GenRobotics, whose machines replaced manual scavenging, Navalt’s solar-electric ferries, and Marut Drones’ “Drone Didis of Kashi,” which trained women as agri-entrepreneurs. “Each of these examples shows how perseverance can change the odds,” he said.This year’s edition showcased five entrepreneurs:Abhishek Chhazed (Recyclex): developing greener building materials to reduce emissions.Akshita Sachdeva & Bonny Dave (Trestle Labs): expanding Kibo, an assistive tech platform for the visually impaired.Manoj Sanker (Nemocare Wellness): building affordable neonatal and maternal healthcare devices.Jenil Gandhi & Manan Vyas (Avinya Leather): creating plant-based, cruelty-free vegan leather.Sowmya Balendiran (Sea6 Energy): advancing seaweed farming for biofuels, bioplastics, and fertilisers.
