Tom Holland Makes First Appearance After Spider-Man Accident

Tom Holland has put filming on pause for Spider-Man: Brand New Day after sustaining a mild head injury on set in Glasgow. The actor was briefly hospitalised and diagnosed with a concussion following a stunt mishap. While reports differ on whether the mishap occurred on September 12 or September 19, filming was briefly halted to ensure his recovery.

Tom took center stage as host of the Posh Pub Quiz in London, a charity event organised by The Brothers Trust, which he runs with his brothers Sam, Harry, and Paddy Holland. Held at Christie’s auction house, the Posh Pub Quiz blended lighthearted competition with philanthropy.

Earlier, in a conversation with Agence-France Presse, Holland revealed that he has wrapped up the production of the Matt Damon starrer and is solely focused on getting the tricks of the superhero right for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. About The Odyssey, he said, "It was exciting. It was different. And I think the movie is going to be unlike anything we’ve ever seen." Further, he added, "Working with Chris and getting to know him and Emma [Thomas] was absolutely fantastic. I’ve never seen someone that can work the way that they do, and there is a reason why they’re the best in the business for sure."

The Odyssey is set to release in theaters on July 17, 2026.
