Sahher
Bambba made her Bollywood debut in 2019 opposite Karan Deol in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, directed by Sunny Deol. Six years later, in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, she is playing Bobby Deol's daughter in the Netflix series. That's not all; the actress also shared her emotional reaction to being introduced by producer Shah Rukh Khan at the first preview of The Ba***ds of Bollywood last month.
Sahher Bambba on her character Karishma
In an interview with Zoom, Sahher spoke about the advantages Karishma has, being born into the industry. She shared, "Karishma's POV is that she is quite aware of her privileges, but also she herself is going through her own challenges. She is about to make her debut. She wants to establish herself as an actor away from her superstar father's legacy. She's not your typical star kid, what people assume star kids to be like. She's very earnest in her approach. That's something that I also relate to."

Sahher added, "She also has a very strong moral compass, a very strong sense of right and wrong. She'll call even people who are close to her on their wrongdoings so her POV is that she's aware that there are certain privileges. It doesn't mean that everything falls in her lap."ALSO READ: The Ba**ds Of Bollywood: Bobby Deol On Aryan Using Father Shah Rukh's Power To Get 3 Khans In Cameo - 'Anybody Would...' | EXCL
Meeting 'hero' Shah Rukh Khan
Talking about her emotional moment with Shah Rukh on stage at the launch of the Netflix series, Sahher recalled, "In fact, I cried a little backstage. I went back home and I shed a couple of happy tears. It was really surreal. It almost feels like an answered prayer. He just makes you feel so special. He's just one of a kind, and I feel that they say, 'Never meet your heroes,' but when I met him my love for him increased by leaps and bounds." The actress shared the moment on Instagram as well, where she wrote, " It feels like a dream I never want to wake up from."
The Ba***ds of Bollywood will release on Netflix on September 18.
