It further added, "Park Bom is currently on hiatus from all activities and is focusing on treatment and recovery. We will do our best to assist in her recovery."
Astronomical amount Park has demanded
On October 22, Park posted a photo that was assumed to be a legal document about a lawsuit against YG Entertainment. According to the document, Yang Hyun Suk owed her huge profits. The most striking part of the post was the sum mentioned - 1002003004006007001000034'64272e trillion KRW, which, when broken down, equates to an astronomical 1 undecillion KRW, or approximately $4.5 quadrillion. As per calculation, if Park wins the lawsuit with the sum that quite literally defies reality, she'd surpass Elon Musk and become the richest human being on the planet!
Internet reacts with shock
Ever since the news broke, netizens have been discussing about the allegations and the money she has charged YG Entertainment with. One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "If that lawsuit holds up, Park Bom's net worth would eclipse global GDP—talk about K-pop disruption. But YG's defenses are battle-tested; expect appeals stacking higher than their back catalog. Trillionaire dreams fuel the headlines, though reality's more like pocket change after legal fees."Another user took a jibe, "that lawsuit number looks like someone fell asleep on the keyboard." A shocked netizen said, "You can't sue a company for such an outrageous amount... Even if they took your kidney." A second one said, "From stage lights to stock heights. Park Bom might just turn the courtroom into her new concert venue."Meanwhile, Park Bom is on a hiatus from music activities since August of this year. She even did not become part of her band's recent concerts.
