Silambarasan TR Spotted At Vallalar Temple In A New Look For Arasan
On 7th October, the makers of Silambarasan's 49th film, unveiled the film's title. STR49 is now known as Arasan. As fans are celebrating the actor's first collaboration with National award-winning director
Vetrimaaran, actor Silambarasan was spotted meditating at Vallalaar temple.

It is also known as the Suththa Sanmarkka Sathya Gnana Sabhai, a temple constructed by saint Sri Raamalinga Swaamigal, located at Vadalur in Cuddalore district. Videos and photos of his visit to the temple are currently circulating on social media. In one video, a devotee at the Vallalar temple can be seen telling the actor that if one follows Vallalar’s principles of ahimsa and show compassion towards all living beings, things in life become better.
In a video, Silambarasan can be seen saying, "I prayed that just like Vallalar, who provides food to the poor, and the need, I too should be able to provide meals for those in need. That’s why, when Vallalar called, I immediately came to the Vadalur Sathya Gnana Sabai and got blessings from Vallalar Swamigal.”Arasan, which is currently in production, is part of the Dhanush-Vetrimaaran's Vada Chennai universe. The filmmaker is set to make use of the screenplay he originally wrote for the 2018 Dhanush. Reportedly Samantha is in talks to play the film's female lead. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
Silambarasan TR was last seen in Thug Life a gangster action drama film directed by Mani Ratnam, who co-wrote the script with Kamal Haasan. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies, the film also featured, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Nassar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ali Fazal, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy and Tanikella Bharani. It marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan and Ratnam after their previous collaboration, Nayakan (1987).
