Almost never has the internet shown the kind of unity- that it ended up showing in the comments section of this rather eerie video going viral. Taking to social media, a man shared a video– in which he was seen biking in what appeared to be an awfully quiet street at night. To make everything further dramatic, the houses on each side of the street looked damaged. Turns out, the place was an ‘abandoned Arab village’ in Oman. The man, as per the clip, accidentally got lost in the village while allegedly trying to follow Google Maps. No, the trouble did not end here- the man was not with some group or other people- he was allegedly alone at the time, as he was on a solo biking trip. As soon as the video went viral, most of the internet was quick
to comment on how the village was possibly ‘haunted’. Many also commented on the possible presence of a ‘jinn’. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. For those not aware, a Jinn- or a djinn or anglicized- are believed to be ‘supernatural, unseen beings’ as per pre-Islamic Arabian mythology and Islamic traditions.
