When Barkha was asked if uncertainty of shows affects her commitment to a project, the actress said, "Definitely, it does." Sharing her thoughts on television shows going off due to lows TRPs, she added, "I think earlier, when we used to sign shows, we knew that it would work for two years. Now, there is no guarantee. But I think and do feel that platforms are becoming less tolerant and less patient. They want results really fast, ki immediately there should be this much TRP. Aisa nahi hota hai."

The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 actor continued to add, "Because any content you make... it's a creative field. It's not a numbers game, it's a creative field. You are making it a numbers game, and thus you are brutally axing off shows, saying 'not working, remove it'. You approved that show with a concept because you believed in that. Now, you are saying, remove it. So, I think that's a little unfair to producers also and to actors also.
