Viral Video Shows ‘Indian Kids’ Deliberating Littering– After A Foreign Woman Asked Them To NOT Litter

India’s ‘civic sense’ is yet again under the scanner! A rather ‘embarrassing’ video was shared online, which left many netizens questioning the ‘education system’ and the type of ‘values’ kids in India are receiving.

The video showed a foreign woman asking some kids not to litter the street they were all standing on. However, instead of listening and accepting one of the most basic lessons- cleanliness- the kids began to litter more, especially in front of the woman. At one point in the video, a kid was seen specifically approaching the woman to show her how he was throwing random stuff on the street. The woman, on the other hand, first urged them politely, but soon gave up after the kids continued to dirty the public place.One of the kids was even seen asking for ‘a dollar’ from the foreigner- which visibly left her shocked as she refused and reminded them how they refused to listen to her, yet wanted something in return.As soon as the clip went viral, netizens began to react. Most found the incident ‘embarrassing’ and commented on how the Indian education system needs some ‘fixing’, while some blamed the ‘lack of civic sense’ behind such incidents.
