Vishal Jethwa Talks About Differences With Homebound Co-Stars Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter But 'Fir Bhi Connect Ho Gaye'

In a recent interview, Bollywood actor Vishal Jethwa, who is eagerly awaiting audience reactions to his latest film Homebound alongside Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, spoke at length about their off-screen

chemistry and bond, which helped them deliver the film’s required emotions convincingly.

Vishal Jethwa gives a sneak-peak into off-screen friendship with Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor

During a recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama

, Vishal expressed, "Ishaan aur mai ek dusre ko sirf kaam se jaante the, personal life mein hum kese hai hume pata hi nahi tha. Toh sir ka (director Neeraj Ghyawan) ka ek important note tha ki kyunki ye friendship pe film hai, toh agar tumhari friendship fail huyi toh ye film bhi fail ho sakti hai. Aur uske liye sir ne ek advice di thi ki aap ek dusre se milo, ek dusre ko jaano.(Translation: Ishaan and I only knew each other professionally; we had no idea about each other’s personal lives. So, sir (director Neeraj Ghaywan) gave an important note that since this film is about friendship, if your friendship fails, the film could fail too. Bahaut acchi conversation huyi thi, depth vali. Usme ek khoobi hai ki vo bina judgement ke baat sunta hai. Aapke point of view ki respect karta hai bhale vo uska point of view na ho. Uss din hum ek dusre ke sath khul gaye.(Translation: I had gone to Ishaan’s house. I didn’t even realize how 4–5 hours just flew by. We had such a wonderful, deep conversation. One of his qualities is that he listens without any judgment. He respects your point of view, even if it’s not his own. That day, we really opened up to each other)."While talking about Janhvi Kapoor and the bond he has with her, Vishal said, "Same with Janhvi. Mai uske ghar gaya, humne dinner kiya, ek dusre ko jaan ne ki koshish kari.(Translation: Same with Janhvi. I went to her house, we had dinner, and tried to get to know each other)."

Vishal compares all of their life journeys

While comparing all three of their life journeys, Jethwa told the news portal, "Maine ek dynamic bhi samgha ki hum teeno ki life journey bahaut alag rahi hai. Teeno bahaut alag alag family background se aate hai, value system and upbringing bhi alag hai, fir chahe vo financially ho ya position wise. But hum teeno fir bhi connect kar gaye. (I also understood a dynamic, that the life journeys of the three of us have been very different. We come from very different family backgrounds, with different value systems and upbringings, whether financially or in terms of social position. Yet, we still managed to connect with each other)."
