Looking back at giving Bobby Deol his career's iconic song
In an exclusive chat with Zoom, Chinni Prakash recalled how the song was as trendy back in the day, as it has become now. "When we made the song, it trended even then. Bobby was very young at that time, in 90s. It was his second or third film, I don't remember, but definitely among his initial ones. The way he moved and looked was very trendy in that era. His walk in the song became so popular. Just like Sylvester Stallone and Sanjay Dutt who have different walks. Bobby had his own style of walking. We choreographed the song according to his walk. So many films followed where I choreographed for him, but this one became a trend for so many years."

Gupt was Bobby's second film of his career as a male lead, which released after his debut Barsaat (1995). From his curly hair to signature walk and dance moves, everything about the track indeed became a trend. "Even his hairstyle and the Ray-Ban's gold-coloured goggles became iconic. Bhanu (Khan) is in the bar serving a drink to him. So we showed his reflection in the glass and things like that. All that was very rare in those days. If it's still copied, that means we shot something very unique at that time," Prakash reiterated."Cinematography was done by Ashok Mehta, but for the song, a man named Rajiv came from ad world and shot it. Director Rajiv Rai spent a lot of money shooting that song. We shot it immediately after Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast," he added.ALSO READ: The Ba***ds Of Bollywood: Who Is OG Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela Girl Replaced By Mona Singh? - 90s 'Dancing Queen' And Her Songs
