However, the Bengaluru cops have taken action against Pawan Kalyan’s fans for erecting a stage and setting up a DJ without permission to celebrate the film’s release outside Madiwala’s Sandhya Theatre.

The cops informed the media that the Bengaluru-based Pawan Kalyan Fans Association had planned a grand stage celebration outside Sandhya Theatre without obtaining permission on Wednesday. The cinema hall was showing a paid preview screening of the film on the evening of September 24. According to Bengaluru Police, the organisers had erected a stage and set up a DJ system outside the venue. They got a tip-off. They took an action and dismantled the arrangements. They filed an FIR against organisers after getting permission from a city court.

The activists of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) objected to the event. Talking about They Call Him OG, the film has been directed by Saaho fame Sujeeth. It features Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Tej Sapru, Sudev Nair, Harish Uthaman, Rahul Ravindran, Abhimanyu Singh, Saurav Lokesh, Upendra Limaye and others in key roles.
