Bobby Deol Reveals Dharmendra’s '20 Kg Hand' Outshines Sunny’s Iconic 'Dhai Kilo Ka Haath', Calls Father 'Man Of Action'
Veteran actor Dharmendra, once hailed as the “He-Man” of Bollywood, continues to command immense admiration. Even at 89, his charisma and fitness inspire fans who regularly shower love on his Instagram
posts. Despite his warmth, Dharmendra has also faced moments where overenthusiastic fans tested his patience.
Bobby Deol Recalls a Childhood Incident
In a candid chat with YouTuber Raj Shamani, Bobby Deol recalled witnessing his father lose his temper with a fan. “Dad has always treated people with love and respect. But sometimes fans, out of excitement, behave badly or say something wrong. I once saw him beat up a fan, and I couldn’t understand why at first,” Bobby shared. The fan eventually apologised, falling at Dharmendra’s feet. Bobby explained, “My dad didn’t want to do it either, but the man must have said something that really hurt him.”
From Anger to Affection
What stood out to Bobby was how his father handled the situation afterward. “Despite the fight, Dad brought the fan home, offered him food, milk, clothes, and showed him care. That’s who he is a man of action who doesn’t need words,” Bobby said. With a smile, he added, “People talk about my brother Sunny’s ‘dhai kilo ka haath,’ but they haven’t seen Dad’s hand, it’s like twenty kilos.”ALSO READ: The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Director Aryan Khan Gives EPIC Reaction To Bobby Deol's Pic With Mona Singh
Bobby talks about his strict upbringing
Bobby also reflected on his own upbringing, shaped by Dharmendra’s protective instincts. Concerned about notorious child kidnappers Ranga and Billa, Dharmendra kept Bobby sheltered at home. “I wasn’t allowed out after school. I even learned cycling indoors. By college, when my friends threw house parties, I could only help set up before leaving. I had a strict 9 pm curfew,” he recalled.
