This year’s Puja also carried an emotional note for the Mukerji family. Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and Tanishaa Mukerji attended their family pandal while remembering their late uncle, Deb Mukherjee, who passed away in March 2025. Known for hosting grand Durga Puja celebrations every year, his absence was deeply felt, blending joy with nostalgia for the family.Kajol looked graceful in a cream silk saree paired with a red blouse, while Rani Mukerji chose a white saree with a delicate floral border. Their cousin, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, attended in a traditional white kurta pajama. Tanishaa Mukerji added vibrance to the gathering in a lemon saree.
