composer MC Sabesh, best known as one half of the Sabesh-Murali duo, passed away on Thursday at 12:15 pm in Chennai, at the age of 68. Beginning his journey in the late 1990s under the guidance of his elder brother and renowned music director Deva, Sabesh made a lasting impact on Tamil cinema as both a composer and playback singer. Along with his brother Murali, he crafted many unforgettable melodies that continue to resonate with fans.

The Sabesh-Murali duo composed for several Tamil films over more than two decades, delivering memorable music across genres. Their popular works include Goripalayam, Milaga, Thavamai Thavamirundhu, Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, Pokkisham, and Koodal Nagar.
