BTS member Jungkook is a self-confessed fan of KPop Demon Hunters. Giving back to his love for the Netflix animation, singer-writer EJAE, the singing voice behind its lead character Rumi, has also expressed
gratitude and equal adulation for the K-pop idol. EJAE's dream collabs
During a press conference this week, EJAE gave back to Jungkook's support, and mentioned her dream collaborations. "In K-pop, I really want to work and compose with Aespa. I think we would be a great match. I also really like BTS. It would be an honor and so cool. Jung Kook sings so well, so it would be fun. There are many others as well," the 33-year-old said.
On Golden's success
Speaking on her work in KPop Demon Hunters, especially Golden which she sang and also wrote, EJAE said, "These days, there are few melody-focused songs. I also check the Melon and Billboard charts, and so much is happening globally. The hopeful lyrics are healing, and I think it was a song that everyone needed.""I want to grow as a composer. Since I write songs, I have many of them. About KPop Demon Hunters' soundtrack
Apart from EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami who've sang for Mira and Zoey respectively, form the film's fictional girl band HUNTR/X. Rui, Mira and Zoey are K-pop idols who are demon hunters out to take on boy band, the Saja Boys who are demons in disguise. KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix's biggest film till date, and its soundtrack has broken dozens of records on global charts, including an official certification of Platinum.
