Talking exclusively to Zoom, Ramkumar Balakrishnan said the award is even special, as this is his first visit to Delhi. "To be honest, I haven't travelled beyond the South much. But, this was my first time to Delhi. What makes it so special is that, I received such a special honour on my first visit." Ask him if he was expecting the accolades while making Parking, he said "We made it with lot of hard work and dedication, so this win feels heavy, not the award, but the weight of the responsibility I am going to carry in career. This gives me an added honour to make more films with responsibility."
It has to be noted that the screenplay of Parking has been selected to be included in the Library Of The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences for the purpose of extended study.
