Dimri is back in Mumbai after wrapping the shoot of O’ Romeo with Shahid Kapoor in Spain. The actress often shares pictures from her vacations, set life and more. Today, she surprised her fans by introducing a new family member. Triptii’s family got bigger with the entry of…and it is not her rumoured beau, Sam Merchant. The actress welcomed a pet and named it Lychee.

Sharing pictures with Lychee, Triptii wrote on Instagram, “Our family just got bigger. Welcome Home lychee (sic).” Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa and Huma Qureshi commented on Triptii’s post. Aryan Khan’s rumoured girlfriend, Larissa Bonesi, also reacted to the pictures.

Triptii Dimri and Sam Merchant's dating rumours

According to reports, Triptii is dating the founder of Casa Waters, Sam Merchant. During the Spain schedule of O’ Romeo, the latter joined the actress for a quick getaway. After wrapping the Vishal Bhardwaj film, Triptii and Sam were seen enjoying touristy activities. Neither of them confirmed dating rumours.

Workwise, Triptii was last seen in Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi, which released on August 1. Before 2025 wraps, the actress is expected to start working on Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also stars Prabhas. Triptii will reunite with her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 co-star Madhuri Dixit for Suresh Triveni’s crime dramedy, Ma Behen. It is yet to go on floors. Her lineup also includes Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. O’ Romeo, a romantic thriller by Vishal Bhardwaj, releases on February 14, 2026. The film also stars Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda, Avinash Tiwary and Disha Patani among others. It is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
