Aaryan and Sreeleela's romantic drama has been in the making for a while! Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is a romantic musical, which is likely to be released in May 2026. While it was rumoured that their project had been titled Aashiqui 3, the film has reportedly got a title now. According to a media report, Kartik and Sreeleela's upcoming romantic drama has been named Tu Meri Zindagi Hai.

Kartik and Sreeleela's film was reportedly envisioned as the third installment in the Aashiqui franchise. But when Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar parted ways, the latter decided to make it as a standalone film. A source told Mid-Day that it was makers' pre-emptive move to avoid making a direct reference to Aashiqui while naming Kartik and Sreeleela's film. "The team wanted a name that evoked nostalgia, but didn’t risk legal or creative complications. With the release more than six months away, it gives the team time to weave in some additional tracks. The latest schedule is underway in Mumbai and the film will be shot till 2025-end, with patch work spilling on to early 2026."The report suggests that the makers are planning Kartik and Sreeleela's big ticket release on May 1, 2026. However, there's no confirmation on the same yet.

Workwise, Kartik will next be seen Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri with Ananya Panday. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on December 31. Other than that, the Bollywood actor has Naagzilla lined up for release. Stay tuned for more updates!
