While, fans are pouring tributes to the late comedy star on social media, several are wondering why his 'second daughter' wasn't visible' during his last rites. However, not many know that Robo Shankar has only one daughter.

Robo Shankar, is survived by his wife Priyanka Shankar and daughter Indraja Shankar. They have only one daughter together. Going by several images posted on their respective social media pages, most people think that Robo Shankar has a second daughter, however, this isn't the truth. The girl who appeared in several of their Instagram posts is Indhu Sivaraman, the daughter of Robo Shankar's brother Sivaraman. She stayed in Robo Shankar's house for over 8 years after graduating from college, and often took to social media to share special moments she spent with her uncle's family.

Recently, after the demise of Robo Shankar, Indhu Sivaraman shared a heartwarming post on social media about her uncle. “Luv u to the core chithapa,” she wrote.

About Robo Shankar's Death

Robo Shankar who had been unwell over the last few months recently recovered from jaundice. In his last days, the actor-comedian was filming his comeback projects when he collapsed on a film set.

Shankar was admitted at a private hospital in the city, on Tuesday (September 16) after he reportedly fainted on the sets of a film he was working on.“He was admitted in a critical condition with a massive gastrointestinal bleed and multiorgan dysfunction secondary to a complex abdominal condition. He was managed in the critical care unit with intensive medical management. Despite the best efforts of our multidisciplinary team, his condition deteriorated rapidly,” said Dr S Asokan, CEO of GEM Hospital, Perungudi.Despite efforts to revive him, Robo Shankar passed away, leaving his family, friends, and fans in shock.
