Completed my studies and all other obligatory services and got my citizenship in 2021 as it was best for my career and future,” the user wrote. They went on to share their dissatisfaction with life in Singapore. “I will be completely honest, I despise the monotonous life Singapore offers. I know there are many that will take my position in a heartbeat. I hear you but despite India having its cons, I veer more towards living closer to my family and I would rather live in chaotic India than elsewhere.”Admitting to feeling an “identity crisis,” the NRI said they had made up their mind to move back to India, despite being aware of the possible challenges ahead. “Everyone may not agree with me but I have made up my mind to return to India in the next 5 years,” the post read, adding that they intended to invest nearly ₹1 crore in the country.
