Priyanka Chopra Reacts To Homebound Trailer, Calls Ishaan Khatter-Vishal Jethwa Film 'Special'

the TIFF premiere, the makers of Homebound recently dropped the film's official trailer. Starring Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor, the film has been directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. A day after Homebound's trailer was released, Priyanka Chopra shared her thoughts about it on social media. The actress took to her Instagram stories and called the Neeraj Ghaywan film 'special'.

For the unversed, the Homebound trailer introduces Ishaan and Vishal as two childhood friends, who aspire to become police officers. However, their journey toward fulfilling their dreams isn't easy. They are met with judgements and criticism. Neeraj Ghaywan on Homebound

In an interview with Scroll, Neeraj Ghaywan reflected on Homebound's international premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. "I have seen the film so many times I was unsure of what would happen at the premiere. In fact, I used to doze off during tech checks because I was so tired from making the film. Strangely, I got emotional. And I was embarrassed about how I could feel so emotional watching my own film," he said.Reacting to the response it received, the director added, "It was overwhelming. Once the film got over and Karan [Johar, Dharma Productions head] hugged me, I don’t know got into me but I burst out crying."Meanwhile, Homebound is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 26, 2025.
