Although Sun Lin assured fans that her health was improving after being injured by a falling flowerpot while collecting a package, fresh concerns arose when she shared a photo of an IV drip from her hospital bed. Alongside it, the actress posted a cryptic note, "Sisters, once I’ve recovered, I’ll update you all. I don’t accept this outcome! Wait for me, my darlings."This has raised concerns after her September 21 post which read, "I have been in the hospital since then. I am much better today, so I came out to explain. I did not want to cause panic. Thank you for your concern. I will be discharged tomorrow and show all the evidence of the hospital examination. Speculations around Yu Menglong's death

Internet could not stop buzzing around the actor's sudden demise after falling from the window of his house. Spectators are, since then, raising concerns and doubt and sharing 'evidences' proving that the fall was not accidental. One of the clips included his scream, shouting for help. The police in Beijing detained three women for spreading rumors about Yu’s cause of death and released a statement on September 21. A social media user named Zheng posted that Yu had jumped to his death after being sexually assaulted by a higher-up. Another one, named Yuan, posted that someone had disemboweled Yu before throwing him off a building, and and the third named Xu allegedly told netizens that surveillance footage from the scene of the crime had been destroyed. She also allegedly said that someone was manipulating Yu’s mother and sister.

Yu Menglong's sudden demise was confirmed on September 11 when his management team broke the news of the actor's death at the age of 37. The official statement read, "With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on September 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. We hope he rests in peace and his loved ones remain strong."Few days later, on September 16, his mother shut down rumours surrounding his death stating, "Recently, I experienced immense pain and sorrow as my dear son Menglong had a fatal fall from height after consuming alcohol and left us forever.This sudden change has plunged us into deep sorrow. The police have informed me of their investigation, and his funeral arrangements have been completed. I hope everyone will view this accident rationally and stop making further speculations.I also hope to return to my peaceful life soon and while cherishing my memories of Menglong, I strive to live every day well.
