Zubeen Garg's shocking demise indeed left the entire country in deep sorrow. Especially, the Assam government announced 3-day mourning after the tragic demise of the Assamese singer in Singapore. He was 52 and died due to drowning while doing scuba diving on September 19. Zubeen’s funeral was attended by thousands of people in Guwahati and days after his demise, a video of him struggling to swim alongside his friends is going viral. The singer looks exhausted and gasping for breath; he tries to swim towards a raft in the video, which has left fans disheartened.

Zubeen Garg's Last Video Before Demise Goes Viral

He passed away at 52 in Singapore on September 19 in a scuba diving accident. Unlike the previous video, where Zubeen was seen wearing a life jacket and having fun at a cruise party, this clip featured him without one. Visibly tired and struggling to stay afloat, the singer, at one point, was left out of breath and his friends rushed to help him.

The exact timeline of the video is not yet clear and Times Now, Zoom could not verify its authenticity but it is going viral on social media and fans are disheartened. One wrote, "Perhaps, he could be saved…seems like nobody realized that it would be tragic." Another one added, "Really no one is coming forward to help him. He is struggling to get the boat."For the unversed, the Assam government has decided to pay tribute to the singer and cultural icon, Zubeen Garg. They will distribute his ashes to organisations and individuals through an online application system. Apart from that, the memorials are also set to be established at Kamarkuchi, where he was cremated with state honour, the singer spent his early years in Kamarkuchi, Jorhat.
