What is the story about?

Since
the release date of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the Game of Thrones prequel series, was announced, anticipation for the show has been rising. Co-creator George RR Martin, showrunner Ira Parker, and actors Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol-Ansell are all going to be stopping by New York Comic Con on October 9. That's when the first trailer for the series will be unveiled. But before that, take a look at the first clip teasing what's ahead in Westeros.

On his blog, author Martin teased, "Ira Parker, our showrunner, is flying in from Beflast, and bringing Dunk and Egg with him; that is to say, Peter Claffey (Dunk) and Dexter Sol Ansell (Egg). They are both incredible, perfect for their parts. I think you guys will love them. (And I rather expect NYCC is going to blow their minds). HBO has a teaser/ trailer ready to go, in addition to the panel."Additionally, the official account of Game of Thrones posted on X, "A humble beginning to an extraordinary journey. TRAILER TOMORROW. #NYCC." A ten-second clip accompanies the announcement, which shows fans a snippet of a conversation between Dunk and Egg. In the clip, young squire Egg says, "I think I could be quite happy in a place like this." To which Dunk replies, "You're in a place like this." Showrunner Parker has already revealed in an interview that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will not have a title sequence like previous shows Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. What's more, Lilo & Stitch composer Dan Romer is scoring the soundtrack for the HBO series.
